Proforma Invoice is a mandatory customs required document that
must accompany all dutiable consignments travelling outside the European Union.
At least four copies of this document must accompany the shipment to enable the
local customs authorities to expedite clearance of the products and release
them to our on-forwarding agents. Non-document consignments that do not have
the relevant paperwork may face lengthy delays. The following details must be
included on your invoice.
- The shippers address.
- The consignee’s address.
- Full and detailed contents
of all parcels.
- The commercial value.
- The production value.
- The reason for shipping.
- The shippers signature and
printed name.
- The date.
- If you are sending on
behalf of a company the document must be on your company letter headed
paper.
